Since I started this course, my writing has changed tremendously. I have always had problems with my writing capabilities. I would constantly find myself misusing words and using incorrect punctuation in my sentences. This is partly due to me not taking the time to proofread my work. I would always get ahead of myself. This week, I also learned how important it is not to use slang. I unintentionally tend to do this a lot. This is where proofreading my work will pay off. I also learned the importance of using a dictionary and keeping a list of commonly confused words so I would be able to study for future reference. One of the changes that I implemented with my writing is proofreading my work. The second is using a dictionary to study words that I commonly get confused with.
