Wilson Axia College of University of Phoenix I would like to discuss the system and how it will make the operation of the Club much easier. First, there are two information systems support the entire organization: enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and transaction processing systems (TPSs). ERP systems tightly integrate the functional area IS via a common database, enhancing communications among the functional areas of an organization. A TPS supports the monitoring, collection, storage, and processing of data from the organization’s basic business transactions. The enterprise resource planning (ERP) system will be the area where everyone will work in. Everyone will have his or her own username and password. Once you log into the system you will see the company’s logo and your name. Here employees can see Clubs information page. On the information page, it will list the upcoming events and entertainment. You will also see any information that is address to you. You will be able to see you total hours of the week and any Paid Time off (PTO) available. The time clocks is link to this system so managers will be able to keep up with you hours. Security will log in the Club’s head count, loss and found people that may be wanted by the police, or hostile customers that have been 86 off the property. The assistant manager and owner will be able to print out the floor plan for potential parties and events and then arrange it how they would like base on the floor space. Only the manager and owner will have access to do this' This leads me to the transaction processing systems (TPSs). Anyone that works in the sales/transaction area will have access to this part of the systems. This will get you into the system to do sales. The owner and managers will be able to do much more with the system. You can see the Club’s inventory. Now you will know exactly what you have and what you need. You will be able to process orders from outside vendors. I can set all them up in the system and by a click you can connect with their site and place your orders based on you inventory. This makes it much easier for owner and assistant manager to keep the Club stocked with what is need. The manager and owners will be able to see invoices and the Club’s profits and losses. This system can even show you year-to-year comparison report. In the sales are you can see on a day-to day basics of what is a good seller. You can tell what day of the week or month is a good time for you. This way you can probably come up with some kind of promotional event to boost sales on those slow days. It make could be that on the days that you have a good band or D.J. could be the reason of the high or low turnout. Based on the security’s head count you can judge the head count to sales. For the customer this would make ordering food and drinks easier. Not only is it easier for the customer but also for the staff. Also, say that a customer loss something at the club, if it was turn in to security the item could be log in the system. Basically, this system will be able to do everything that is needed to run an effect business make the life of the owners and workers much easier. Once everyone gets the hang of the program, you will not be able to live without!!!!!
