You needs this kind of support to gain feedback, listen, and understand what customers’ needs and wants are. The web is the new way to communicate as well as texting, and blogging. Since the web is the new way of finding things out it is important for any company to have a web page set up. Club IT needs all the above. Club IT someone to manage all the responsibilities of the IT network. Someone needs to set up a web page and email as well as use the information they receive to build clientele. Club IT needs to track where people come from and the age groups they need to promote too. Club IT nightclub has the following mission statement: "We, Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ's, dance space and refreshments that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT.” Club IT’s clientele consist of young local professionals, adult students, vacationers as well as commerce travelers. Club IT’s surrounding entertainment structures close by brings many people of various ages, from single adults, young couples to older couples. These people are looking for a fun place to listen to music and have fun or to just rest eat and drink as they wait for the entertainment to become more appealing as the night goes by. To boost information technology Club IT needs to set up and maintain a web site. Once a customer comes to the web site they need to join it. When they join the web site they should be asked their name, address, and email account. That way Club IT can send them updates every week to let their followers know what bands or events are that week. They also need someone to store this information, protect this information, process this information, transmit this information as necessary, and later retrieve this information. Since facebook is a fast growing database they need an account to promote business. They need someone responsible for updating this account and sending out friend request. They need everyday reminders set as to who is playing that night and what the specials are for the evening. Since Facebook is huge these days in the networking community it’s a very good way to advertise your business but you need to have someone responsible for maintaining the data on the site. They also need someone to make sure these networks are secure and safe. No one wants their information stolen even if it is just email. Someone has to make sure the information is safe and up to date security is used. They also need to become more competitive. One way to become more competitive is to take advantage of its information base to help build a community with the support of IT. Several kinds of competitive information and strategies that Club IT can gain by providing this service, for example, Cost leadership, Differentiation, Innovation, Operational effectiveness, Customer satisfaction. Keeping members happy and satisfied is crucial to retaining customers; hence, for Club IT to compete with these strategies, it needs to choose that strategy and focus on the information it will need to pursue that strategy. For instance, to expand its customer base it is necessary to create a blog space on its website to create a members’ only database. The music offered by Club IT also attracts college students, tourists, and business travelers visiting the city. This clientele can grow at very fast pace through direct marketing to local hotels and the use of word of mouth locally and especially through Club IT’s blog even when all those people go back home to their various cities. The venue will allow Club IT to increase its revenues from this sector. Club IT’s main focus should be to make their customers happy. The way they can implement this is to have a blog. People that join their web site can have access to give feedback. They can have special drawings every week for users that use the blog, this way it will encourage more people to blog about their experience and what they would like changed. Another main focus should also be security. They need to have security camera installed for the safety of their customers. They could also use facial software to track trouble makers. Metal detectors would also need to be installed. Violence needs to be at a minimum to ensure the safety of Club IT’s guests. Club IT really needs an IT professional hired so that way it can keep a good ongoing relationship with customers as well as make new relationships with new customers.
