Club IT Club IT is a breand new club is a new club that is going to be opening soon. The owners are looking to get a real good feel about where there company is going to be when it is operational. They will need to know several different aspects and find out what there customer demographic will be as well as to make it all functional and effective. After spending an evening in the club with friends just trying to get a feel of what the club is and what it could be. Listinig to the music and watching the people will give me a real good feel of what the club is suppose to be. The information I am gathering will help the owner identify what tools they will need to effectivly run there business and marketing ads. IT took me a little while to come up with the information that I will present to the owners on Monday to help them realize there companys potential. I had to first make a plan for them to get organized into a well oiled functioning machine. First they have to have the software to put all the information into and be able to analyze it. I will offer them different technologies that are available to them that will help them in daily operations. The anticipated target area for there club should be no more than about a 30 mile radius from them, with there target age demographing being from 21 to about 40 so it gives them a very large group of people to market for. Having been this this town quite often before I had determined with the new construction around them and the low crime rate for the area, this area was absolutley on the rise and the club and the software had better have room to expand. Club IT will likely be a place where a lot of common friends go and are regular customers and the average length of staying time. The uniqe layout of the club will allow for a large number of specialty uses for a lot of different types of acts to come in the club must have the software as well as hardware to make it happen. From projecters and screens to speaker and microphones and of the newly remodeld lighting system is a huge plus. The exstensive bar will have 4 pour stations wich will allow to bring in more revenue by shorter wait times and easier access. There should be touch screen computer screens at each stations that are connected with the cash registers. There is a specialty software that will documentation of each orderd item and record it. This recorded information then will be able to be broken down to see what is most popular and what is not so popular to show what is needed to orderd more often and more quanity. Having a small staff and the potential there for increased income there should be more room in there budget to hire more employees to better serve there clientel. Another way to meet the owners needs of marketing and getting them up to date by making them a website and making it user friendly to be able to list attractions, menu items etc. By making them there own website it will esatblish a presence and allow for marketing oppritunities for there target demographic. The club itself should really consider purchasing a wifi setup and offering free wifi to club members, this will be not only a useful too to the customers but a great assett to the company to have a high speed internet connection. I reccommended them have a very good virus protection on all of there computers because of the danger of loosing confidential information. The club has zero security other than a bouncer so I would recommend at the very least a closed circuit survellance system to be in place to help them feel more secure and help out incase of emergency situations. The security system would be able to be monitored atr any time from the main office computer as well as remotley from there home if they where to choose that option. For all of the clubs informational storage needs I would recommend either backing it up on there computer or allowing a third party to store it over the internet for a small monthly fee. There current operation system is older and although it will work for all of these applications I will suggest to update there operating system to be more compattible in the future. They have a fairly simple way of taking orders for the kitchen and it is very efficient it would not be cost effective buying software that will be useless in 3 years. In closing, Chnages are good for a company on the way up. To be the most up to date you can be to allow for further expansion as well as being functional now. The plans presented to club it will make the club more efficient and more cost effective to run as well as having a smaller carbon footprint by cutting down on paper consumption. The upcoming months implimations of these technologies will have the community buzzing and buzz is good for business
