. Describe the terms and conditions of your employment as set out in your contract of employment. A. During my employment at Marian Mission, they may need to hold personal data, details of criminal record and medical data. Marian mission will ensure that all information are held securely in personnel files and will not be disclosed to others outside the Centre, except in case of relevant medical information in a medical emergency or as required by law. Marian Mission may also need to hold some information for equal opportunities monitoring purposes, such as age, sex, sexuality, race, religion and any disability. When I signed the contract, I was agreeing to Marian Mission, collecting, holding and using this information in this way. My employment was subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and if necessary, a medical assessment. My employment was also subject to the receipt of satisfactory, full background checks through the Criminal Records Bureau, or other appropriate Approved Body and receipt of a ‘suitable persons’ letter from Ofsted. Q. Describe the information which needs to be shown on your pay slip. A. Pay slips need to include the name of the company you work for, your name and Tax code, your national insurance number, the payment date, the deductions and adjustments made, your gross pay and your net pay and a summary of pay from year to date including national insurance. Q. Identify two changes to personal information which you must report to your employer. A. You must inform your employer if you change your name, change your address, are off work because of sickness or if you want to change your annual leave. Describe how your own work must be influenced by National factors such as Codes of Practice, National Occupational Standards, Legislation and Government Initiatives. As an Assessor, firstly, my main responsibility is to identify the learner’s training needs, learning styles and what motivates them to learn.   At my workplace, I conduct interviews/inductions with the learners using various assessment methods such as Initial Key Skill Assessment in Basic Literacy/Numeracy, Diagnostic Testing, and Individual Learning Plans. This initial assessment enables me to acquire vital information about the learners such as their ages, cultural differences, abilities, aspirations/motivation and learning styles. There are many theories associated with how learners learn. My role as a planner enables me to design and plan the course programme on my specialist field (i.e. childcare and early years). Most Awarding bodies have given boundaries to which the courses should be outlined, thereby limiting my input to mainly planning the course timetable (i.e. showing what units to cover and how long the course will run for) and also to plan and prepare lesson sessions for each unit within the courses programme.
