Executive Summary Welcome to “Hells Reaper Paintball”. Hells Reaper Paintball is dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service, the best selection of paintball equipment no matter your skill level. Goals and Objectives Find funding for my paintball shop and inventory. Find location for paintball shop and paintball field. Find motivated and knowledgeable staff. Double the sales of paintball guns my second year in business. Create a twenty-four (24) team paintball league and host four (4) regional tournaments at my paintball field in three years. Create a new shop location every seven years. We will specialize in every paintball product you can imagine, for the beginner just starting off, all the way to the pro player, in the tourney scene. Hells Reaper Paintball will include a full service retail shop and an outdoor paintball field. The shop will carry the latest high-end and low-end paintball markers, paintball attire, and essential paintball equipment. Management Structure Hells Reaper Paintball will be a sole proprietorship ran by the owner, . I like this idea of business, because I will be making all the decisions and will be my own boss. My employees must be knowledgeable in the field of paintball, be able to buy into the company mission statement of providing outstanding customer service and willing to go the extra mile for customers. Teamwork will be essential for coordinating different events with the paintball field and the retail shop. The manager will report directly to me the owner and his primary jobs will be ordering, monitoring sales, inventory and overseeing the line staff. The line staff’s primary job will be sales, providing excellent customer service and helping with events at the paintball field. During the tournaments and league events at the paintball field we will be hiring temporary staff to help with these events. The two leadership techniques I would most utilize would be the Expert Power just my overall knowledge in the field of paintball and secondly I would lead by example set the tone for the other employees. I want to be a leader that leads from the front not from the real I am not going to reach my goals by piggy backing on my employees. I will lead the charge and motivate them to follow me. My target market will be males between the ages of 12 and 24 years old. I will offer free paintball tactical and safety clinics to encourage people to enjoy the sport. I will also contact different high schools and colleges to set up clubs sponsored by our store so they can have access to the paintball field and the exciting sport. I will advertise through the Internet and in the local community through sponsoring different events and different sports team to creating a positive community image. I will run limited amount of print ads because I think by sponsoring different events you get better recognition and it goes to a good cause also. My projected budget for advertising is $400 a month. My print ads when they run will be for short time periods due to the price and will run in school newspapers because the age group I am targeting does not read local newspapers that often. Swot Analysis Strengths Knowledge of paintball sport. Location of shop and field with limited competition. Selling paintball equipment that met any budget with competitive prices. Dedicated staff and excellent customer service skills. Weakness Limited Staff will work long hours with a lot of responsibility. Management experience is limited and coverage insufficient. Start up cash-drain. Relationship with wholesalers for more competitive prices. Opportunities Could seek better supply deals. Profit Margin will be good. Local competitors lack product selection, variety and equipment maintenance services. Competitors are vulnerable. Threats Seasonal effects weather for tournaments, league events. Economy due to the fact most people we are focusing on do not have well paying jobs. Retention of key staff that are vital to business success. Market demand can be seasonal.
