Growing up I have always let myself down, because of me not believing in myself, and as I got older and older, and days went by life got hard on me, my family always put me down they always thought I was never going to make it through high school but here I’m today in college because there negativity and them putting me down helped me motivate myself, I had to prove all of them wrong yes it was hard because I was a bad child then and I never did my work, but today I look at life different, and not just my life even my education. Education means so much in a person’s life with out education a person’s is nothing .Yes today I do still struggle with my education because some times I don’t believe in myself, but I try so hard to the point that it makes me want to cry thinking about it. I always feel like I can’t pass any of my class’s with out one of my friends being there, Or someone being there with me helping me out. Its hard it gets to me sometimes I feel like I’m a loser sometimes, but the more it happens the more it makes me want to motivate myself even more, for example yesterday I wanted to give blood, but I was sacred, because I never did it before, after I got my paper work done and the doctor was about to give me the shot to give blood I told her to stop, I got sacred I thought it was going to hurt, I felt so bad, but the other doctor came and told me do you want me to do it and I said okay, but please don’t hurt me, and I told myself I really wanted do this ,because I been wanted to do it since high school I just never had the chance to , I motivated myself and said mariam you can do it ,and I did it ,and I felt great after because I helped save someone’s life ,and it helped me to believe in myself also. Today its hard to trust in your self, but if one person can do it we can all do it, for example you can start today set goals, you have that’s you can take Control of and recognize when you achieve your goals, so that way you will build your confidence, you have to keep on doing it until you get it straight, Its like do not expect to run a four minute mile, until you have trained and conditioned for running. Today I love motivating my self like going for the higher things for example or trying to go for the best and even if I don’t get it, I keep trying I learned that in high school, never give up on something you want or that will help you in life it took me a while to get it but I got it . Today I believe in myself more then I used to because in high school I always thought I was going to fail a class or a test but I got tired of not believing in my self and showing people I can do it just like they can too. Today I hate failing I hate not believing in myself I always try to think positive and do positive things with my life because if I’m going to be a negative person I will always be negative and I don’t want to be that kind of person. Believing in your things leads on to so many things and god is here with all of us today every where we go, and in everything we do or need help on so why not think positive and say you can do it and show others that you can do it as much as they can and can be even better so always believe in your self and you will most likely get a great out come of all your hard work and believing in your self.
