Bad_Things_Lead_to_Good_Things

One day on a hot summer evening, my family and I went to visit my Uncle Frank and Auntie Lori. While we were there, they invited my brother Cisco and I to go with them on a road trip to Texas. At first, my parents were a little worried but, quickly realized that it would be a fun experience for the both of us. A few weeks later, my Mom received a call from my Uncle asking if my brother and I were still going with them, along with my cousins Lisa, Angela, Andrea and, Johnny, on the road trip.  My Mother and Father completely forgot Cisco and I were going. The next day my Uncle, Auntie, and my cousins were ready to leave although, Cisco and I weren't finished packing. A few hours later we all were still at my house waiting for my brother to finished packing, I assumed he thought we were going to live in Texas for a while because he packed so much clothes  it would last a week. After Cisco was finished packing it was off to Texas we went. The vehicle that my Uncle and Auntie got was a Suburban, a really nice car, but it wasn't as roomy as I thought. My Uncle and Auntie were in the front two seats, my cousins Angela, Lisa and, Andrea were in the middle row of seats and Cisco, Johnny and I were in the back seats. Johnny and Cisco are pretty hefty kids so, sitting between them at first wasn't bad at all, until the long drive came. Before i started getting uncomfortable sitting between Cisco and Johnny, I was still unsure of exactly what part of Texas we were going to visit. I didn't want to ask because  I would rather it be a surprise. Around 4 hours in to the drive the heat was unbearable and sitting between two hefty kids, in a tight row of seats, the body heat made it twice as worse. Meanwhile my cousins were lounging and relaxed and fresh in the middle row of seats with a head rest TV on the back of the seat that they have been watching. I was so exhausted from the drive and the heat I feel asleep, when i woke up we arrived in El Paso, Texas. It was about 8pm in the evening so we all decided to stay the night there in El Paso. While we arrived at the Hotel we were rudely greeted by the women at the front entrance. I assume the others didn't hear her cause they all paid no mind to what she said. My Uncle and Auntie decided to rent two rooms for the night so we can wake up extra early to leave to San Antonio, Texas. The boys stayed in one room while the girls stayed in the other, the room that me, Cisco, Johnny, and my Uncle stayed in smelt horrible. We tried everything to get rid of the smell but nothing worked. My Uncle asked the lady at the front desk if we can get another room because the one we had a horrible smell that won't go away. The women refused to give us a new room so we just had to deal with it till the morning.  The next morning we loaded up in the Suburban and were on our way to San Antonio. When we arrived to San Antonio we quickly rented a Hotel for 4 days that had a pool inside. Me I love swimming so once i got their I ran to the pool and jumped in as while as Lisa, Angela, Andrea, and Cisco unfortunately Johnny had a cast on his left leg so he couldn't swim. We swam all night long until the pool closed and off to bed we went. When I woke up my Uncle rushed me to get ready because we were going to visit Six Flags amusement Park. As we arrived to Six Flags the heat was so outrageous  once we stepped out the car I literally started sweating instantly. So, we all started walking towards the entrance of the amusement Park the line was so long, it wrapped around the building. Luckily we had pre printed our tickets so we skipped to the of the front of the line. When we walked in to the Park it was filled with people and roller coasters and little concession stands that you can win prizes at. It was so over wellming for my cousins, and my brother along with me. All of us spent hours there and didn't even pay attention to the time. The rides were amazing and such a blast, at one point on a ride I seen Johnny and Lisa cry on a ride. It was so hilarious, by far the best amusement Park i've been to. We all had so much fun we didn't leave till almost 12 at night. After we left from Six Flags we quickly went home to get some rest before we go to Corpus Christ, Texas. The next day i was rudely awakened by Johnny with a big bucket of cold water to my face. I woke up in shock be eventually realized that i wasn't in any danger. A few hours later we left to Corpous Christy to visit the beach. Although i've never been to a beach I was expecting it to look like a scene out of a movie. But, it was no were near what i expected it to be, the water was a dark green murky cesspool instead of a beautiful ocean. At the time I couldn't swim so i didn't go very far deep in the ocean. My cousin Lisa was all upset over something that was point less so she jenksed me, Andrea, and Cisco by saying "ew the ocean is gross, you guys are gross i hope you taste it". Andrea said "shut up you cry baby" and right when she turned around a huge wave hit her straight in the face along with Cisco and I. The water was like getting a handful of salt and putting it in your mouth and leaving it there. After that we all got out of the ocean, when we were at the end of the water Andrea seen something on the ground and she went to pick it up and it had tenticals. She quickly realized that it was a jelly fish that she picked up. She got scared and dropped it cause she thought it would sting her. After she got scared we left to the Hotel to wash of all the dirt and start packing because the next day we were leaving back home. As we woke up to leave we had more luggage then what we came with. At Six Flags we won 4 life-size stuffed animals that couldn't fit in the car. We went to Wal-Mart to get a huge bag that can be placed on the top of the car so that we can take them home for memories of the trip. On the ride home I had luggage under my feet so i was crouched in the back seat in between Johnny and Cisco. When we got home i couldn't have been more excited to be back, that trip was by far the best and will never be forgotten. I hope to have more amazing trips like this one because it was a wonderful experience.
