Ancient Alien Structures Devry University It is believed by some that ancient alien civilizations existed before man was even developing simple tools . Some also believe that early man, may have received teachings and technology from extraterrestrials. People who believe in the theory of Alien intervention are known as Ancient Alien Theorists. Ancient Alien Theorists and mainstream archeologists have very different views on how humans completed certain tasks. Ancient Alien Theorists think that the Pyramid, the Carnac stones and Temple of Jupiter in Lebanon could not have been built by man alone. They feel that the task of using 300 ton blocks or megaliths, in some cases, was too difficult or does not make sense or in some cases super heating 100 ton megaliths is not feasible. Ancient Alien Theorists also point out underwater cities that have been flooded by the sea in the thawing of the last ice age, when mainstream archeologists say man was still dwelling in caves. In most cases I am inclined to side with Ancient Alien Theorists. Archeologists do not have an answer, or in my opinion a rational explanation for how the structures being discussed in this paper were built. In Turkey there is a site called Gobekli Tepe , discovered in 1994 by a sheep farmer trying to remove stone from his pasture .Archeologists unearthed several large circular structures, each containing several 19 foot pillars, weighing 15 tons, covered with carvings of animals and insects. Archeologists have been digging the site since its discovery and carbon date the structures to 12000 years old. This pre dates Mesopotamia, long thought to be the birthplace of civilization. It is unknown as to who built this site or why and there have been no tools for stonework or agriculture found. To add to the mystery, archeologists say that the structures were buried . Ancient Alien Theorists think that this site maybe proof of an Ark; the dating of the site puts it right at the time of the last Ice Age and the depictions of hundreds of animals found throughout the world carved into the pillars may be a sign as to what the structure was used for. Ancient Alien Theorists believe that the story of the great flood and Noah’s Ark may hold some truth, but not the way most think. They believe that at the end of the Ice Age, aliens collected DNA from many animals, stored them on crafts, and used the DNA to repopulate the earth once the oceans reformed. Also, the location of Gobekli Tepe is 300 miles south of MT. Ararat , which is where many Biblical Archeologists think the resting place of Noah’s Ark is. In Peru at Cuzco at more than 12000 feet above sea level, lies an astonishing structure called Saksiwam an, built of stones weighing 20-100 tons or more. Mainstream archeologists say that the structure was built 1000 years ago by the Inca. Although the popular belief amongst the Inca is that the structure was built by an earlier race of people who descended from the sky, led by the god Verichocho , described as a very tall, pale skinned-white haired being. Mainstream archeologists say that the stone was quarried from riverbeds and pulled up the mountain with ropes. The stones used to build Saksiwaman weigh on average 20-100 tons; to put in perspective it takes 15-20 men to move a 1 ton stone. Once on top of the mountain the granite stones were cut to fit together like a puzzle. Today we use diamond- tipped power saws to cut granite which is still a time consuming task. In most places on the structure the stones fit so tightly together that a piece of paper cannot be pushed between them. The stones also fit together so well that no mortar was used to build the walls. Ancient Alien Theorists say that the stones used to build Saksiwaman show signs of being exposed to very high heat. Ancient Alien Theorists and mainstream archeologists agree that man did not have the technology to heat megaliths weighing 100 tons to temperatures in excess of 1200 degrees. Ancient Alien Theorists believe the ancient Incas were given technologies from extraterrestrials to help them move these Megaliths up the mountain and superheat these giant stone to a putty- like consistency so they could be molded into place. Mainstream archeologists say that people one step removed from cavemen quarried, moved, and put in place granite megaliths weighing 100-300tons. These granite stones are all cut to be pointed on the top and have a magnetic force. A person can take a compass to Carnac and the needle will spin in circles. According to the World Grid Theory, some places on earth are more magnetic than others; Carnac is one such place. It is believed that the granite stones were put in place to enhance the area’s magnetic properties. Many sites that Ancient Alien Theorists believe to have ties with Extra Terrestrials are on such geo coded magnetic locations the Giza Pyramids, Machu Picchu and the Temple of Jupiter in Lebanon are all on sites containing higher levels of magnetism. There are three ancient structures on earth visible from space, The Great Wall of China, the Nasca Lines in Peru, and the Carnac Stones. Once viewed from above it was realized that the Carnac Stones were not lines of stones as believed; they were stones forming geometric shapes. At one end of Carnac is a structure resembling Stonehenge and at the other a rectangle of stone, both precisely placed to predict the summer and winter solstice also the three structures form a Pythagorean Theorem. How could cavemen whose high technology of the day was a stone knife know about the summer and winter solstice or complex mathematics that wasn’t discovered for thousands of years' Ancient Alien Theorists believe that the magnetism, compounded with the shape of Carnac ,may make it a navigational beacon for the Earth. In 1987 a pyramid style structure was discovered of the coast of Japan, in the Pacific Ocean. This 200 yard structure is made of large cut stones and has many walk ways, stars and engravings. There is also what appears to be a 23 foot face carved into one of the walls. The compelling thing about this structure is that it is under 100 feet of water. The belief by both archeologists and Ancient Alien Theorists is that the structure was submerged at the end of the last Ice Age. It is also agreed that the structure was built about 14000 years ago, making it one of the oldest known structures. Scientists and archeologists have always said that Mans intelligence 14000 years ago was barely above a monkey, but now say that humans built a complex stone structure. There is no evidence any ware in the world, let alone the area of Japan that man had the tools or brain function to build such things. Ancient Alien Theorists believe that this is yet another example of extraterrestrial workmanship, while mainstream archeologists are once again going back on what they were certain was right for years. Ancient Alien Theorists and mainstream archeologists will continue to debate the possibility of alien intervention in history until hard evidence is found. Though there is no smoking gun, so to speak, there are a lot of questions which neither side has an exact explanation for, and if we don’t have an answer, anything is possible. Archeologists who think Ancient Alien theorists are crazy need to remember that archeology itself is kind of a theory. We are constantly making new discoveries that change things we previously thought to be fact, such as when civilizations were started and when man began to think more complexity to achieve these tasks. Even if aliens are not responsible for certain structures, the dates at which they were built change the mainstream explanations of our history.
