In this world we have many different religions and beliefs. There are gods that are out of this world and men that take the name god in some religions. In India the people’s god is an elephant man with four arms and his name is Ganesha. There is also the god that I mostly hear about, and that is the man that died on the cross for our sins, Jesus. Another god that was man was Buda. Buda was god to the Hungarians. I have noticed that all these gods are just men. Just like us they are fallible and prone to temptations and weakness. I understand that god sent Jesus to die for our sins so that explains the purpose for Jesus being a man and not a god, but why did these other gods come to this world not as gods but as man' In many of the civilizations around the world there are questions to whether or not some of their culture or religion is of this world or not. I believe that we have been visited by aliens in the past, and they may have helped shaped our world to what it is today. Many people don’t believe this or even want to accept it. People always say show me the proof, but when someone wants to show some, they do not accept the fact they just say it is coincident or caused by nature. I have some evidence to show that may say otherwise. Evidence from civilizations around the world and even religion that may make your mind wonder about the possibilities. Many people in this world may not want to accept the fact that there is evidence in the religion that they believe in, but I have an account in the bible were there was an encounter with something that was not a god. In the bible Ezekiel has this encounter explaining in exact detail of the event. Ezekiel says, “Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings. Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves’ feet. They sparkled like the color of burnished bronze. Their wings touched one another. The creatures did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward. And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went. As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning. And the living creatures ran back and forth, in appearance like a flash of lightning. Now as I looked at the living creatures, behold, a wheel was on the earth beside each living creature with its four faces. The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them. When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. When those went, these went; when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up together with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels” (EZEKIEL 1:1-21). In this amazingly detailed event you can clearly imagine that these creatures came out of a certain direction of the sky on a flying machine or space craft that was the color of a metal, and made a lot of noise and smoke. Now if this was a god or an angel coming to Ezekiel then why did they need to create such a loud noise and a lot of smoke to get there, why couldn’t they just appear to Ezekiel to talk with him' In other cultures around the world there are many stories like the one in the book of Ezekiel, except many people do not want to believe it so they throw the stories in with mythology saying there is no way that it could be real. In the oldest known civilization in the world we have such an account. In present day Iraq is what many people know as the cradle of civilization. Between 3500 and 1900 B.C. was the time of the Sumerians. In this civilization was found the first known writing scripts. There was found twenty two thousand of these tablets. In 1976 author Zacharia Sitchin published a translation of the Sumerian text into the Earth Chronicles Expeditions. According to Sitchin the clay tablets describe an alien race called the anunnaki that came to earth to mine gold because their atmosphere was lined with it and the gold was deplenishing. So when they came to earth and realized how hard the labor was they took the primitive man that was on this world and enslaved them to work the gold mines. The primitive man was unintelligent and did not listen well so the Anunnaki took the man and intertwined there DNA into it and made the humans that we are today. The Anunnaki called this first man Adamu (The Mission). If you look at the bible the first man was Adam. There are other similarities from the Sumerian text and the bible. When Moses asked to see gods face god said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live. Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen” (Exodus 33:20-23). There are similarities on the fifth tablet of the Sumerian text that is older than the bible which says, “No Mortal Comes to the mountain where the gods dwell. He who looks the gods in the face must die” (Daniken 51). This raises some question as to what if there was a loss in translation. What if aliens were misinterpreted as gods' What would that say about the religions in the world' Most important what would happen to the world if we found out that there may not be a god that came to this earth just other species' Some civilizations around the world raise some speculation as to whether or not they had some help from extraterrestrials. People do not want to accept these ideas but if we look at places like the Egyptian pyramids, or even some civilizations found under the ocean, some questions are asked to whether or not there was help from beings not of this world. The Egyptian pyramids probably raise the most controversy on how they made these massive constructs with little man power rolling limestone and granite weighing an average of two and a half tons on tree logs. In the great Giza pyramids Khufu is the largest pyramid. This pyramid alone has around two and a half million stones, and some weighing in excessive nine tones or eighteen thousand pounds. This pyramid was, according to Egyptians, built in only twenty years and total weight is around six and a half million tons or thirteen billion pounds. Now we are all supposed to believe that these men and women did all this with picks, chisels, rope, and tree logs. How could this be possible' If you calculate two and a half million stones divided by twenty years you get one hundred twenty five thousand stones a year, and if you take that and divide it by twelve months you get ten thousand sixteen stones a month. To get my point across further if you divided ten thousand sixteen stones by thirty days you get, three hundred forty seven stones a day. With an average weight of two and a half tons a stone that is an approximate weight of six hundred and ninety four thousand pounds per day or twenty eight thousand nine hundred sixteen pounds an hour. I do not think there needs to be further convincing that there is no way possible to do this with ropes, and logs to roll them on. Some cultures have historical accounts of their civilizations being much older than mainstream archeologist believe. India has one of the oldest dated civilizations, yet their ancient text and past history shows that their cities are much older. This is a classic example of the world taking the history of a culture and saying it is a part of mythology because they say their dates are wrong. Recent studies and underwater explorations show that mainstream archeology is wrong about the age of India’s culture. Off the coast of India about a half mile under the ocean, was found a massive city that has many of the same statues and pictographs as the ones in India’s current cities (Underwater Worlds). Mainstream archeology is now seeing that they might be wrong on the dates. If this is possible then what does that say about their gods being a part of mythology' Does this mean that they did have many extraterrestrial beings that they called god come to this earth to rule' This is only a piece of knowledge that I have to share with the possibilities that aliens may have been misinterpreted as gods. With stories from the bible, text from other cultures, and even evidence of the pyramids or underwater worlds, there is no doubt in my mind that we have had to of been visited by some kind of intelligent beings. Most people believe that aliens are little green people with slanted eyes that want to study us, but if god came to this earth and made us in him image than we are aliens of this planet that look like god. If this is so then aliens could very well be among us today and blend in with society.
