After the fall of man, we became spiritually dead. Until we accepted Christ as our Lord and for cleansings us our sins are we restored to completely spiritual person. “For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him' Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God” (1 Cor. 2:11). At is only at this point that we can fully understand God’s word. However, even though Christians’ are given the ability through the Holy Spirit to fully understand God’s word we us Christian must almost strive to learn the basics of sound Bible studies. Paul warned us the importance of handling and interpreting the Bible correctly and of the need to be wary of false teaching. “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). Many unbelievers are quick to point out that we Christians cannot agree of the correct interpretation of the Bible. In addition, that we as believers are lying when we say we understand the Word, which unbelievers claim is impossible because even bible scholars cannot fully understand the word. Therefore, it is important for us Christians to be diligent as we pursue to study the Word correctly.
