Abortion

Abortion! Most can say that they understand the meaning of this simple word. Some people will believe in what comes around goes around. Just here to state that even though people understand this word and may try to live a good life to ensure those effects are just and righteous people most clearly do not understand what the word abortion means. Even though acquiring an abortion for health reasons can save a woman’s life, abortion is immoral because an act of abortion is, in fact, an act of murder. It is the general consensus that most women who have abortions do not understand the consequences. An abortion is a legal way to murder an innocent child on the hopes that the mother may continue her life as if nothing had happened. The kind of person who can think this is a correct path of action is indeed wrong and inhumane. People cannot write off what may be considered a huge mistake by making a bigger one. Acquiring an abortion can negatively affect the lives of everyone around the female who attained an abortion. After having an abortion those women who are young or old may move toward being depressed because of a rapid adjustment in their hormones. Women having abortions may have a higher chance of increasing risk of breast cancer. The chance of developing breast cancer is to a superior extent elevated in these women acquiring their first abortion as an adolescent or higher prospect if there is a record of breast cancer that runs in the family. (Journal of the National Cancer Institute) The family’s of the woman who gets an abortion can become irrational and even disown the one who got the abortion. Friends may see these women, as not the loving caring person these women were perceived to be prior to the abortion, but as women who gave up her child for their own selfish agenda. These negative effects on a woman can cause an emotional rift between those the woman loves. The pie chart below in example one shows the percent of women obtaining abortions in terms of 24 and younger females. What people can determine from this pie chart is that women 15 through to the age of 24 and younger are in fact having abortions. What is more significant is the fact the women under the age of 20, in the 19 through 16 age range, amount to a rather large portion of this chart. To those women, having abortions at such youthful ages can be detrimental to their future. Losing friends and family who once helped support these women are finding about how their daughter or best friend just killed an innocent child because the woman who is little more than a girl was not ready for the actions that took place. Example One Abortion because of economic issues or financial purposes may be a huge factor in a woman’s decision of going through with this act. (Help For Single Mothers). Most of the women who do choose to get an abortion do so because the woman who is acquiring this abortion cannot afford to have a child. However, most women will not even look around in today’s market to see all the different government aids available that could potentially give them a better life. Having a child may be tough work but there are also large amounts of money toward education that helps mothers who need it. Having a child may result in a lower than normal level of living but with all of the help in today’s economy health care and education it can certainly be a life changer. Also a woman who has had an abortion may choose to relocate in order to find a better job for herself so that the woman may have a chance to be ready for when a planned child is coming or because she is ashamed and cannot look her friends and family in the eye. The result of this change can be helpful to a woman but in that woman’s future the support of a family will most likely trump running away. This is most likely caused by the fact the woman is unmarried at the time the pregnancy was discovered. Also it can be concluded that women may go to these measures due to the probable fact that the father of this child was unwilling in helping the mother with this child. Therefore, the United States has women under the ages of 18 getting abortions because these mothers and fathers cannot and will not accept responsibility for their actions. Below in example two is a bar graph that shows the percent of the marital status of women who are getting these abortions. What people will be able to determine from this bar graph is the fact most of these women are unmarried and afraid to raise a child on their own. Even though raising a child can be a terrifying concept even to those are ready and willing there is help available. A single mother may be able to receive state as well as federal grants for school, affordable housing that caters to single moms, and a check for a decent amount of money. Example Two Abortion is a very controversial topic. Because of that, it happens to be illegal in some states. Due the nature of abortion, some people consider this to be an act of murder. The lack of a solid partner can, if truth be told, hurt the women having an abortion and cause them to choose to cross the state lines from a no-abortion state to a pro-choice state in order to have this abortion proceed. Abortions are most commonly performed in the woman’s first three months of pregnancy. Some states take this into account when it came to deciding whether or not this should be made a legal process because the question that cannot be answered is at what time does life come into existence. This may seem like a trivial question to most people but this is a question that cannot be determined as of yet. When does life occur' Life occurs in the first known stage. This is the process of bringing a new human in to this world. If this question cannot be answered then why are there limitations on when a woman can have an abortion' Why are people willing to say that abortion is acceptable if it happens in the beginning of a woman’s pregnancy' The answer to this question is that it is not acceptable. This act is not correct and therefore cannot be justified. The United States government has made it a crime for a non-parental individual to assist a pregnant underage woman in crossing state lines to acquire an abortion. Therefore, even with this law in place abortion is ever on the rise. Not only is the woman under 18 responsible for getting abortions the parents in these abortion outlawed states should be held accountable. If abortion is such a heated and controversial topic to most Americans why is it then legal for an under the age of 18 woman to so easily attain one' The states that do practice pro-choice methods should at least yield abortions to women under the legal age. Instead of making it illegal for women under the age of 18 to attain an abortion without a parental consent these states almost make it mandatory for a woman who wants an abortion yet cannot tell parents to try and find alternative methods. In Texas women of the age 17 are delaying abortions all the way in to the second and sometimes third trimester to give enough time to turn 18 in order to avoid having parental consent. (Perspectives on Sexual & Reproductive Health) Delaying an abortion greatly increases the health risk including breast cancer. In today’s society women would rather deal with the consequences of what could be fatal mistakes instead of just doing the right thing. If an underage female makes what that woman may consider a mistake that results in pregnancy, the first and safest action for these women to take, no matter the consequences, is to get the parents help or even just advice. Not only are women hurting themselves by getting an abortion they do this intentionally to avoid what may be seen as an embarrassing issue. Abortions are not just happening in North America. This vile act is a worldwide method to kill innocent babies by ways of drugs or manual surgery. In the south Asian regions some women are having abortions not based on what they may consider a mistake but on the basis of the child’s sex. (European Journal of Contraception & Reproductive Health Care) A woman in this region is having a kid finds out that the kid will be a girl decides to kill it and then retry in hopes of having a boy. This is completely wrong on the conception that a females life means less the life of a male. These countries have abortion rules and policies but how a woman can have one kid and expect to be a good mother after the deaths of how many females this women had to cycle through in order to achieve a boy. In America this would be a major act of sexist behavior that would not be tolerated however in America a woman will still criticize that type of behavior on the way to the abortion clinic because the reasons for having an abortion is better than another women’s in a different country. It does not matter where people come from or their excuses for going through with this, what matters is the fact these women are going through with killing their child for the sake of having a better life. Having written these thoughts and discoveries about abortions people should see that this is not a noble act. This has been written and arranged not to force people to believe in what most so clearly should, but try to open eyes to what is a wrong and terrible crime. Just relax for second and think about a favorite rock star. Think of all the joy rocking out with friends to that one song in which relation to every verse, every tear cried to that song, and in which people have smiled knowingly has affected lives. History is made by people, people who love and hate, people who start wars and write love stories, and people throughout history who have affected the life all humanity has shared today. What would the world have been like if those humans have had abortions' Never getting to see and never get to know people, humans who could have made history is why abortion should be seen as the true crime it so rightfully is. These are the consequences women and family members who approve of this act should be accountable for. Loss of life is a crime of the maximum immoral conduct and yet we have multiple offenders who walk free of murder each day.
