A Story of One Lie or the Global Warming. (Slide No 1, all this is written on the board) Ice melts, ocean and hurricanes are growing and it’s all YOUR FAULT! Don’t worry, its just a lie! D: Media tells us nearly everyday about the Global Warming; we can find lots of information, data and news about the future disasters because of it, but not single evidence. V: It is time for us to find out the truth, that all this terrible disasters will happen because of human’s fault, doesn’t really exists. D: We are going to tell you; who and why made this myth/theory about the Global Warming. (But first we would like to ask your opinion, before we start, asking the class) D: Let me just say one thing; there is a temperature increase in the atmosphere, but it isn’t what we think it is. V: Let me begin; all the time media tells us about the Global Warming and how it is dangerous for us. They simply convince us, that the cars and factories make the temperature increase around us and it is all Co2´s fault. D: Theory number one: Lets begin with Co2, in the history the rates of Co2 in the air were higher, 10 times higher than today and it tells us that Co2 is not associated with Global Warming, so that’s the first lie. Not one major climatic change in the past 1000 years can be explained by Co2. We can proof it; Co2 has never affected the climate before, even thou the manufacturing has been there for a long time now. V: The truth is that the Global Warming isn’t a scientifically proven theory. However, our fears of the future disasters became a very useful tool in the hands of the politicians and the fight for the protection of the nature became a political tool. D: Scientists simply need a sort of an issue to get funded. Which means that they need to create a panic, so the money flows into their hands. D: Today we will tell you how and why the climate changed: V: (Slide No 1, graph 4.18) The climate of the Earth changes all the time, but it all happens without the human’s factor. Example of it so called “Little Ice Age”, when in 17th century in England in winter period the river Thames has been frozen (last few centuries this river has not been ice-covered), in Moscow it was snowing in July. D: (Slide No 2, graph 5.14) Another example is the “Medieval Warm Period”, when the temperature was much higher than it is now. At that time we did not have any cars and we had only a little production. Again it proofs that the Co2 isn’t affecting the climate change, its nonsense. D: Chief conductor of the Global Warming theory is the UN (United Nations) commission IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), it is a group of international politicians, who hire scientists, to get the facts which are interesting for them. It is a political organisation, not scientific, so all its decisions all politically driven. This commission consists of 2000 leading scientists around the world, but there are many members who do not have any relation with science, you can have a look at their biographies and you will see what we mean by that. Every few years, it appears that the previous forecast of this organization is a mistake and they don’t deny that. V: (Slide No 3, graph 8.32) For the last 150 years, temperature of the air increased only for few tenths of degrees Celsius, the weird thing is that the warming began ages before we had cars, planes and only a little production. (Slide No 4, graph 8.38) After World War 2 the temperature logically had to be increasing, but it was actually decreasing. The temperature was decreasing for several decades (even thou there was a production boom), the temperature stopped decreasing and started increasing in the time of economical crisis in mid 70s. D: So far the facts of the Global Warming don’t fit the theory. (Slide No 5, graph 15.28) In fact, the level of Co2 lag behind the temperature for 800 years, this tells us that the temperature itself affects the Co2 level in the atmosphere. D: We all agree that it is getting warmer on the planet, but is it as dangerous as we were told, we say “no”, because we have shown you that the temperature changes all the time, now it is increasing, later will be decreasing, the nature needs kind of a balance in itself. V: Theory No 2: (Slide No 6, 10.25) Greenhouse effect affects on the temperature in the atmosphere. The theory tells us that the atmosphere gets warmer, because when the sun’s rays reach the atmosphere of Earth, they supposed to bounce off the atmosphere, but some of the rays get through and are trapped there. If that would be true, about 10 kilometres above the ground, the air would be 2-3 times warmer, but there is no temperature increase at this altitude. So we can say that today’s warming isn’t due to the greenhouse effect. D: And again their theory contradicts itself… We are not involved in the climate change, it isn’t the human’s factor, unless you consider concerning the politicians and their propaganda. D: Politicians use this theory for their own purposes; such as making money and getting you to vote for them. V: So if it isn’t the Co2 and the Greenhouse effect, what really changes the temperature in the world' (Asking class) D: (Slide No 7, graph 20.35) Just look at the sky, its all because of Sun. The energy we consume all together is nothing compare to the energy giving out by the sun. V: The more sunspots there are, the warmer the temperature. One British scientist noticed that in the “Little Ice Age” there was very little number of sunspots and in “Mediaeval Warm Period” there were lots of spots. This is the only thing today that actually affects the climate change and the Global Warming and all disasters that have to happen because of it, is just one big lie!
