The purpose of this essay is to compare facts and features about the games and informs people on the facts my position on the issue is bi partisan i love both games and own them both but if you are on the fence this paper might sway you one way or the other. Modern warfare 2 $39.99- $49.99 Price can be a big factor for people in deciding what and how people buy their video games. Weather to buy a certain game weather to buy it used or new used is my preferred way to purchase games. If the game you want is available used one might as well go that route due to the fact that most game stores won’t accept games if they look like they won’t work anyway, also it will save you about 10 to 15 dollars a game to buy them used. Modern warfare 2 has been out a little bit longer so everyone has figured out the glitches and therefore makes it less and less fun as the time goes on. The lower price of modern warfare 2 makes it attractive cue to the fact that being used it could cost anywhere from 34.99 to 40.00 when black ops are still 59.99 brand new. The hefty price tag on black ops is $59.99 which may be a steep price but the new game comes with a plethora of new features and game modes which makes it worth the money. So as far as price goes the smartest thing for you to do is to look at your pocket book ant decide what your budget is and to decide accordingly, but for the more impulsive ask yourself what you are looking for in a game and what you are willing to pay for those features and weather it is worth it. Modern warfare 2 the first game mode I am going to speak about is called Spec ops mode –multiplayer and single player due to the fact that there is no difference in the multiplayer and single player besides the lack of a second player. This mode gives you a goal and certain amount of challenges to be completed in a certain amount of time. This mode can be enjoyable for two players and also controller smashing frustrating. But all in all the challenge is to beat each level at the hardest difficulty to collect all of the stars to unlock the other levels. There is also online multiplayer which is very fun but frustrating due to the inability to have 2 players on one console at the same time. The newest installment of the call of duty saga is called black ops and has all of the bells and whistles that modern warfare 2 has plus a tuba, trumpet and a clarinet. 2 player online multiplayers is possibly one of the most anticipated modes on any game this year and make this game go from fun turn taker to hardcore buddy partner up smashup fun. The use of a guest profile and a subscription on Xbox live gold you can fire it up and grab a buddy. A game mode made famous by call of duty world at war is Nazi zombies. The premise of this game is that you alone or with a friend can partner up slay zombies that are in Nazi regalia and to see how long the two of you can last against the ever growing horde of the undead. a bonus is the fact that if your partner goes down (life bar goes empty) you can save the person also other weapons and upgrades are available for a price. An added bonus to this mode in the latest version named black ops is 2 player online zombies. This mode has been dreamed about but never brought into realization until now. You and a friend are able to play Nazi zombies on one console online with other people which help out a lot and just further the depth of the game and playability value.
