Fate Fate By: Sky Goltz My opinion on our lives being controlled by some unknown force is that we determine our own destiny. I do believe, however, that many if not all of us have a purpose to fulfill in life, whether big or small. Whether we decide to permform the function that is intended of us is our decision. I also believe that people’s choices influence our fate. The reason that I believe that all of us have a destiny to fulfill is that all of the creators of the luxuries and necessities we have today; could have chosen not to invent or discover them. If these people had decided not to create the things that they did, then we would all be living in a completely different, much less technologically advanced world. I believe that it was more than chance that compelled these visionaries to do accomplish the things they did. Fate did not make them do these things though, they decided to. They could just have blown these ideas off, however there was something imprinted in their minds, directing them towards their purpose.
