Implementation Stage. System Implementation and System Maintenance The implementation of our newly developed website and our training plan is critical to the success of our capability to expand the sales of the AutoVac. This document will outline the following: implementation time plan, training plan, change management strategies, and our operational plan. TIMING The web site will take six to eight months to be fully developed. This should allow adequate time for changes, last minute corrections, and any troubleshooting that may be needed before going live. There is currently no website active in our organization, therefore, we will test the website in a pilot environment for a period of one to two months. Our internal and external pilot teams will review reports generated and workflow to ensure the integrity of the data being collected and for end user ease of use capability. TRAINING & IMPACT As stated in Introduction to Information Systems “Training is a vital implementation activity.” (p. 364). Training is important to the successful implementation of the web site. The Systems Developers will train the end users on how to operate and maintain the new web site created for the AutoVac.
