The Game Console Of The Year In this age of 2003, technology has advanced so far from the 8-bit Atari or the Genesis Nomad. (Game pro Aug.2001) Yes, just about 27 years ago, arcade games like Poag, Centipende, and Mr. Pac-man were being played by our parents I can remember this grey box with the red word Nintendo on it. I played almost every game that came out on it. Playing that machine brings back a lot of childhood memories for me.Now Nintendo is only one of the three hottest game consoles out there. The other two are a company just use to make televisions and stereos but they tried their hand at it and are now cashing in on their risky move. Sony is now a big corporation. Last but not least is the newcomer to the group , Microsoft , which is famous for it’s computer programs , but it’s now entering a whole new world. So, the three game consoles are Nintendo’s Game Cube, Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft’s X-box. Nintendo came on the science about 1985 with the first 8-bit system.
