Biometrics Is the government doing too much to try and protect us from terrorists and other people who intend to harm others, or is our privacy being taken away' I believe that biometrics is a great way to keep Americans safe when they are attending sporting events, or from keeping fraudulent individuals from getting their hands on information they shouldn’t. As technology increases we should use it to keep people with bad intentions from threatening the lives of many innocent individuals. Biometrics is a relatively new way to identify people by their physical characteristics. The actual definition is the use of a person’s physical characteristics or personal traits for human recognition. The advantages of this technology are incredible. During Super Bowl XXXV there was a biometric system in place that relied on facial recognition. “Specifically, surveillance cameras surreptitiously scanned spectators faces to capture images.
