The Trip Of A Lifetime The Trip Of A Lifetime It was a warm August morning I was headed to the Greyhound Bus Terminal with the rest of the gang. I was headed on my way to my first missionary trip to Mexico. Thoughts of nice sunny weather, clear beaches and of course shopping were on my mind. Oh, and yes we were going to help a small church build a bathroom and do a vacation bible school for the town children. This was just the beginning of a week full of life changing events. This was my first trip on the good old Greyhound Bus. The seats were compacted, small and cramped. The neighbor in front of you was on your lap if he/she decided to take a rest, which happened often. I was excited at first, the thought of being on the bus for 36 hours did not seem all that bad. The bus was packed, but our group was able to sit together. During our trip on the greyhound, we did some wired things like painting the guys’ finger nails pink while they slept.
