Feature New Haven is full of fun, exciting places to visit. The traditional nightlife of bars and pubs is giving way to new nightclubs. Risk nightclub is a located on 230 Crown St. and is one of New Haven’s hottest clubs. Risk opened last year and is designed to hold a lot of people but also keep lines at the bar to a minimum. "We have the floors," says Risk bartender Nick Lioi, "and second floor has a huge dance floor and a bar. The D.J. plays from the third floor, which is also a VIP lounge." The club has a modest entrance from the street, with a simple sign and a small door. But once you make your way up the stairs, you see the magnitiude of the club. Made up of three floors, 2 D.J.’s, and at least 7 bartenders working behind it’s 4 bars, Risk is designed for a big crowd. "We can pack in a few hundred people in here, and trust me we do," says Lioi. "Risk has an awesome atmosphere, you can dance or sit at the bar, or relax on a couch.
