Hunters Dream The Hunter’s Dream “Boom, and It fell”. That was the most nervous I have ever been while I was hunting. Do not get the wrong idea, because nothing relives stress like hunting. If it were up to me, I would be hunting now. Although my favorite type is deer hunting, I enjoy hunting other types of wild game such as duck, squirrel, rabbit, and dove. Even though I have killed many deer, there is one deer that is etched into the back of my mind and stands out like a sore thumb. It was the biggest deer that I ever killed. The deer is a ten-point buck (male) that weighs two hundred seventeen pounds. It was an experience that I will never forget. My Uncle and I went to deer camp for the weekend. When we got there my uncle built the fire while I was setting up the tents. Then, we grabbed the guns out of the truck and sighted them in. This is when I started to get excited. I had just gotten a new 30-06 Remington rifle and it was the first time I had shot it.
