Getting Unplugged In Order To Unwind My first day of being unplugged was very hard to swallow. I am so use to just going from class to class on my cell phone or getting in my car and listening to music. I found it very hard to shy away from using any media, everywhere I went there was a television or radio on. My first day was a Monday, and I had to drive to my house, which is 45 minutes away from my dorm. My radio in my car was already on from the day before and I caught myself listening to it without even thinking about it. I noticed that day how I don’t even think about all the times I have just gotten in my car and listened to music without even realizing it. In my car I like to listen to the radio because I get bored sitting in traffic staring at brake-lights and watching people do the things they do when they think no one is looking. That day I did just that, I watched people. I noticed that about 75% of the people sitting in traffic were singing along with their stereos.
