Interpersonal Interaction The Interaction The interaction I chose to dissect is one that I was not a part of, but rather an observer. The interpersonal interaction involved two male college students. The interaction took place last Sunday evening. I was over a friend’s apartment in South Oakland, watching a movie with his roommate and his girlfriend, “Aly”. Everything was very typical of a Sunday evening until “Jim”; my friend’s roommate received a disturbing phone call to his cell phone. The caller who rudely interrupted our movie was “Jim’s” girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. He was using obscene language and threatening “Jim”. The phone conversation was kept brief, and the two boys decided to handle the conflict face to face, rather than over the telephone. Immediately after hanging up the phone “Jim” slipped his sneakers on and headed outside to wait for “the ex”. With nothing better to do, the three of us remaining followed “Jim” down the stairs and outside where we waited.
