Social Belief Shaped by Background There is no doubt that my outlook on everything I have ever encountered has been shaped by my family in one-way or another. Although I do not have a lot of political opinions, I do pay attention to what is going on with our politicians and the current events of our country. I will not deny that I have a strong opinion about everything, and it tends to get me into trouble at times especially when I don’t know what I’m talking about. One strong political opinion comes from living and growing up in Utah, I am a strong believer that church and state should remain separate, yet for some reason here our politicians pull the church right in with them. My latest opinion comes from two men in the senate that think that getting rid of birth control and abortion is their problem, as if anyone here is on birth control anyway! I believe that if you are not a woman and have no possibility of becoming pregnant it is none of your damn business. These opinions come from being in a large once-Mormon family that swung a one-eighty years ago.
