Binge Drinking A Deep Look at Binge Drinking I don’t kid myself one bit when I consider my drinking habits. I will be the first to admit that I do drink a lot of alcohol. Why do I do it' Well the answer is simple; I have a great time when I am drunk. I have a great time even if I drink myself to oblivion. I know that might sound a little strange, but to be honest, I get relatively mild hangovers no matter how much I drink. It may be a curse in disguise, but that really, is up to me. You could say that I have an antiutilitarian view of leisure, which means I am very laid back about my leisure time and my leisure time doesn’t always have to serve a purpose, but that is not entirely true. I balance that view with the social instrument view of leisure. I often go through periods of time, or phases, where my body is the most important thing to me and I take extra good care of it. My biggest problem seems to be consistency.
