Discrimination Against A Social Class In today’s society discrimination takes on many different forms, from gender inequality to the social class of a person. Everyday people are looked down upon because of the color of their skin or because they may have different beliefs. However, although there are many forms of discrimination, the people that are discriminated against because of their lower social class are being pointed out and labeled a “disgrace” to society in some ways. Instead of providing assistance to these people in need, society wants to ridicule them and take even more away from them, making it even harder for them to succeed. According to The Declaration of Independence “all men are created equal”, yet in some cases this isn’t true at all. The people that discriminate against the people that don’t have a lot of money are only contributing to that person’s problems. This is only hurting their situation even more.
