Contributions Essay: Contribution to the Community The activities that I have participated in for the last four years, have gone to better the community. Aside from Key Club activities, which are built around good citizenship practices, I have also been involved in many other activities such as National Honor Society and Positive Peer Influence, which are also centered on helping others and promoting positive role models throughout the community. My job for the past year has also benefited others in the community as well as myself. I work as the Assistant Nursery Director at Living Lord Lutheran Church. For the past six months, I have been working to set up a new children’s ministry for 3-5 year olds. In January of 2003, all my hard work finally paid off. We now have a new children’s ministry.
