9-11-2001 9-11-2001 The event of September 11, 2001 was a major marker in our country. It showed our weakness, our economy, and how quickly it could be destroyed. Many lives were affected by this disaster. And they, as I will never forget that day. If I could change the situation, it stil would have happened, just a little differently. The terrorists still would have acquired control of the airplanes. That power would have been restored into the correct hands sooner before the trade centers were damaged. This would have allowed us to acknowledge the extent of the issue at hand, our security, without such devastating consequences. Our airlines would have gotten an extreme wakeup call without such a devastating ending.
