Family Values Ten years ago the typical American family could be described as, a single income family with a working father, a house wife mother, two kids, and even a fuzzy little cat. Since then, the typical American family has changed quite a bit. The single income family has now become either a double income family with both parents in the workforce or a single working parent, with the same responsibilities of raising children and maintaining a household. This is how most people that have a biological family would define a family. I looked up family on my computers dictionary to see what it had to offer and it told me that I didn’t have a family; Family: husband and a wife, children optional. I have only a father so according to the MR. Webster I don’t have a family. But family is an abstract word that can’t be defined perfect in any words or way. I might not have a mom but I sure call my family, single, love, just, income, friends, working, wife, way, typical, two, same, people, might, member, immediate, formed, father, even, children, call, blood, american, years, workforce, words, word, webster, ways, water, very, understand, unconditionally, trust, told
