Equality Now Equality Now In the United States society fails to notice the importance of women and the roles that they play. Women in the United States do not realize how grateful they are to be living the lives that such do. In many poverty stricken countries, women are forced to do a multiple amount of work, and acts to their body in order to keep the male satisfied. Human rights violations against women have for too long been denied the attention and concern of international organizations, national governments, traditional human rights groups, and the press. Meanwhile, hundreds of millions of girls and women around the world continue to endure fatal human rights abuses. Women in countries such as Bangladesh, Brazil, Ecuador, Egypt, India, and Pakistan are being mutulated and abused. They are not being abused however for unlawfuland cruel things, but they are being abused for the simple acts of continuing their educations, women who run away from abusive homes, and even some women are being killed for not being virgins. A woman was shot five times by her husband because she ran away from him after he continuosly beat and raped her. Another woman had her throat slit because of the fact that she was suspected women, woman, man, being, countries, should, men, because, abused, wrongly, world, true, treated, rights, killed, human, family, adultery, acts, treatment, someone, shown, right, raped, order, one, mostly, male, kind, kill, just, husband, homes, girls, gave
