An Eye For An Eye There is no doubt when it comes to any issue contemplating life or death there will be a conflict. Most people go through life avoiding serious trouble because of the inevitable repercussions. Those that don’t respect the law must face the consequences. Serious crimes, such as murder, people think require capital punishment. So we can’t justify intentionally murdering a criminal even if he or she “deserves” it' First of all I need to ask where people stand on capital punishment. I am one of the few Americans in our society who opposes the death penalty. Most of those who believe it is wrong look at the moral side of the issue. Most would agree it is wrong to take a life, but for some reason it is acceptable in a death penalty. Murder is wrong in any case. Some would argue “an eye for an eye” is the logical way to deal with murder. Murder is morally wrong in any case. Why should the state be able to decide if a criminal lives or dies' No one should hand out punishment in the form of death. The only death, life, penalty, wrong, rest, punishment, person, one, murder, should, people, jail, don’t, criminal, another, spend, punished, lives, killing, time, think, society, shocking, serious, reaction, prison, out, need, loss, issue, god, few, eye, end, die
