They probably do not live happily ever after, because Bianca turns out to be a shrew in the end. The second pot involves Pertruchio and Kate. Because Pertruchio is broke, he comes to town to find a rich wife. Pertruchio is approached by Hortensio to court Kate and marry her, Pertruchio agrees because he wants the challenge of taming her and because his expenses to court Kate is paid for.
