Othello- A Tragic Love The Shakespeare play "Othello" was brought to life by Brad Kaaya in a great modern rendition of the story "O." In "O" the fiend Hugo makes a impressively noteworthy speech stating, "All my life I always wanted to fly, I always wanted to live like a hawk . . . Proud, Powerful, Determined, Dark . Odin is a hawk . He soars above us. He can fly. But one of these days everyone is going to pay attention to me, because I am going to fly too." In both the play and the movie a young man, named Odin (Othello), falls in love with a beautiful young woman. Odin is lied to and betrayed by those he believes to be his friends. He is told that Desi (Desdemona) is cheating on him and betraying him, which is not true, but still upsets him very much. In the end of the story, because of all the lies, he is hurt so badly that he decides to kill Desi (Desdemona), which in turn causes him to grieve for her so much he kills himself. It is truly a tragic story only Shakespeare himself, could h! ave created.
