51due论文代写网精选代写范文:“Boston Massacre”本文是一个很好的描述照片的范文,在文中对于波士顿大屠杀的照片做出了详细的介绍。在作者的文笔中让我们不仅想起在战争中平民的遭遇。
Boston Massacre The Boston Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770. Based on the testimonies presented in this chapter, I think that the actions of the crowd were that they were anger and upset with the British soldiers and they were not sure who said fire.. The paragraph that places the actions of the crowd was under the subject background, paragraph four, it said that all through the next week Boston was an angry town. Gangs of men and boys roamed the streets at night looking for British soldiers foolish enough to venture out alone (DAP, 77). By looking at the picture on page 90, the actions of the crowd were that some people were shot to death on the ground as they were fired. One man tired to stop the fired, you see him held his hand up in the air. Some of them prayed to God. Then the other picture from Alonzo Chappel, 1868 that picture looks like the Boston people were fighting back, but also I cannot really tell because the picture is so dark and this happened at night. This picture also shows that the people were attacked by the British soldiers. Some of the testimonies are unpersuasive because one of the witnesses was Peter Cunningham had mentioned that he heard the captain said fire because he stood four feet behind him and the soldiers and he noticed where the captain was standing in the midway of the soldiers. But, he could not really see because the smoke coming for the gunshots were everywhere. Some of the witnesses said that they heard the bell or someone shouted fire. They should have not use these statements for evidences because they are not relevant in court and to prosecuted Captain Preston. I think that these testimonies are not relevant because some of these people were not fighting in the massacre therefore they did not know what really was going on. All they saw was the crowd throwed big giant snowballs at the British soldiers. This incident happened in the middle of the night so, it was dark and how can people witness so much action that was going on in the dark' I really think that the way it happened does not make sense because when a captain would say fire, all the soldiers would have fire at the same time. The reason that they did not fire at the same time because they did not recognized the captains voice. So, maybe while the captain was standing behind the solders and some of the witnesses stand before him maybe one of them shouted fire. Who knows' In conclusion, I can understand why the crowd acts in this matter because the British soldiers had left five people dead and six wounded at the colony. The people in Boston were only protested their town. The crowd was outnumbered. This incident would have never happened if Ebenezer Richardson had never tear down an anti-British sign to upset the crowd. They taunted him, break his windows, and struck his wife with a stone. The people were angry and upset with the British soldiers.
