Radiologic Mechanical Malfunctions Due To Inadequate Maintenance There are many reports of mechanical failures in raidologic equipment that were caused by inadequate inspections. Because of these mechanical failures there have been injury's and even deaths. These malfunctions could have been avoided if inspections would have been done properly. There have also been information on malfunctions discovered in the Nordic countries like Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Theses incidents were reviewed by STUK.
