Southstreet Seaport Museum The South Street Seaport Museum turned out to be a lot more interesting than originally anticipated. At first I went to the gallery on the left when your first enter the seaport (not the one where the gift shop is located). I spoke to the old lady, which is respectable, for elderly people have more experience in life. Anyway, she seemed extremely knowledgeable in her variety of information she talked to me about. Initially, she told me to go get tickets, but I went back right after I got the tickets. I thought I would talk about this gallery because it was focused more on the sea and ships, rather than the main gallery (I presume), which had many things, from instruments such as barometers, pistols, and rulers to pictures of famous people. So I went back and starting talking to her, I was the only one in this part of the museum so I had her undivided attention. The very first things that caught my eye were the models of ships; my brother actually builds model planes, which takes a lot of patient. So they easily captured my attention.
