Photosynthesis Photosynthesis Review General Botany is the study of plants in our environment. We are required to use a textbook named, Biology of Plants, by Raven, Evert and Eichhorn. This is the sixth edition of the textbook which was copyrighted most recently in 1999. The proposed textbook for next year’s use is titled, Introduction to Botany, by Murray W. Nabors. It boasts a 2004 copyright. Upon comparing the photosynthesis chapters of the two sources, I noticed a number of differences between the two. More importantly, the Introduction to Botany was overall a more enjoyable read. The material in Introduction to Botany was easier to read, more relevant and it seemed to get to the point rather than just to fill the page with words. The overview, for example, is short yet it accomplishes the point as the long, photosynthesis, plants, introduction, botany, biology, read, overview, textbook, molecules, two, sources, section, review, point, organic, makes, energy, easier, compared, yet, year’s, writes, wordy, words, water, using, upon, understand, titled, survive, sun, study, sixth, simple, short
