Endangered Species Thousands of species of plants and animals are endangered, and that number increases every year. Every living thing present in an ecosystem plays an important role. For instance if a plant that an animal is entirely dependent on goes extinct, that plant can throw the whole food chain out of order. In the world there are many organizations that are dedicated to helping these animals. In many cases these organizations recognize a species’ problem and then are able to do something to fix it. Sometimes when the specie’s issue is recognized it is already too late. Its not that all humans are endangering these animals, its just that people should recognize the risks of what they can do to prevent themselves from doing something awful. Humans have caused extinction to happen 100,000 times faster since there existence. That really makes a person sit and think why this is happening. People as a civilization can put more of an effort out to do what is right and protect these animals from this horrible thing called extinction (Information Plus). The most important thing humans need to do is acknowledge the problems causing extinction.
