Keep that in mind and think of what the word perverse means. Perverse is defined as: Directed away from what is right or good; perverted. Now put two and two together and you get perverse subsidy. To be blunt perverse subsidies are not good at all. The government gives out many subsidies to organizations to help out, when in turn this money is used for things that hurt the environment and the economy.
