The Four Seasons Evidence for Seasons A discussion of weather would not be complete without mentioning seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, often distinguished by variations in temperature, daylight, proximity of the sun. The atmosphere also protects us from high energy, radiation and the frigid vacuum of space. It also deflects and filters the energy waves. Pressure, Fronts and Humidity Atmosphere pressure is defined as the force exerted by the weight of air. The pressure in the atmosphere is simply the weight of the air.
