Bioengineering Technology “To play or not to play… God'” Since so many scientist don’t believe in God, they are trying to become one. It is now the twenty-first century and scientist have come along way. They have made an enormous leaps and bounds in scientific fields. Scientist has improved the biotechnology of cloning genetic manipulation, and selecting embryos. Cloning is an issue that has been argued for years. I think that cloning has its pros and cons. I am in favor on cloning plants; however, I am against on cloning animals and humans. Cloning plants is good because we could win the fight against global hunger, but the bad news is that we don’t know if cloned food could damage our health. There is a dispute between Europe and President Bush because “President Bush…criticized European governments for boycotting genetically modified foods, saying their actions were impeding attempts to ease famine in Africa” (Zitner A.19). I think that Europe should approve clone food because it will benefit a lot of people who are starving. Moreover, another controversy is animal’s cloning.
