Hydroponics Attn: Department of Agriculture Re: Alternatives to Commercial Farming The thesis of this paper is to discuss hydroponics as an alternative to commercial farming and also that unused office space in the United States could be converted into Hydroponics’ facilities to provide food sources. The recommendations are as follows: the Department of Agriculture re-train farmers to use Hydroponics growing techniques to produce food sources. To solicit information from other countries, which have had great success with Hydroponics as a way to produce food sources. Also, that the office space that goes un-used throughout the year be converted into food production facilities. In closing this kind of dedication to a new technology could speed food to the market and increase food exportation to countries that cannot grow it. Reduction in overall food cost would make food available to low income and less fortunate individuals. It is thru these findings that World hunger could be reduced greatly.
