Fire Fire is a source of light and heat. It has a distinct luminous glow, with a pretty array of colors such as yellow, orange, red, purple, and blue. For me, fire symbolizes life. When a candle is burned, it brings out the smell and the light of life. There are many classifications associated with fire such as material descriptions, uses, and symbolism. Describing what fire actually is is one’s own opinions or thoughts about fire. When I think of fire, I think of how hot it is. In addition to its immense temperature, it has an odor to it. The smell of a fire is just so refreshing and pleasing to ones senses, body, and mind. Fire actually ranges in size too. It can be very small like an inchworm or it can be very big like a skyscraper. If a fire gets that big, then it could become out of control. The byproducts of fire are smoke and ashes. There is only one bad feature about fire. It is dangerous and can go out of control in less than a second.
