Observation Of Moses I find it interesting in Kirsch's examination of the Midianites. Kirsch seems to display them in a very innocent and unfortunate manner. Even in the Bible, their mention seems to be a sort of lost or unguided description. "The Bible depicts the Midianites as a tribe of camel nomads, wandering the wilderness in search of pasturage for their sheep and goats, and they have long been imagined..." This seems to portray them in a way that they have no use for life, and therefore in the angle it is presented seems to be some sort of justification of the slaughter of their people.
