Abortion Abortion In this modern day and age, of such radical opposing opinions, one must take a personal stand regarding their own personal views and convictions. My personal conviction of “Pro-life” stems from a more deeper spiritual and religious belief versus the “human intellect”. Man may have the power of the law of the land, or capital punishment, or abortion but I believe that those decisions should be left to God. The Bible may state “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth”, but in my eyes only God has the right to decide who lives and who dies. There are many other related issues under the topic of abortion such as: pro-life, pro-choice and religious beliefs. When discussing the topic of abortion, I have witnessed that pro-choice, pro-life debates generally get kicked off with various view points such as: believing in the right to choose a safe legal abortion (pro-choice) and believing that abortion is murder (pro-life). As a result it is conformed into much larger and emotional issues. Abortion is one of the most controversial and talked about topics of our lifetime.
