Religions Of The World There are so many religions and denominations today, making it hard to differentiate between them all. It is hard to understand how people who are taught to be unified are still so much separated in the church and religions of American and worldwide. All the separation stems from interpretation of the Bible. My hope is that through all the differentiation among the denominations there is still a respect and love for each. I belong to the Southern Baptist Church. I grew up Southern Baptist and that is now where I choose to keep my membership for worship. Since I go to a school that is proclaimed Church of Christ it has been interesting and educational to learn of the differences while still respecting my own. In this environment I have been stretched to understand what and why I believe what I do, and also to understand where other people come from in their own beliefs. Southern Baptists are often believed to be engulfed in fellowship, potluck suppers, and gatherings at the table for feasts. This is very true of the Southern Baptist Church.
