African American Relgion The purpose of this report is to compare and contrast two sources from the library and internet. This paper is also to discuss barriers to international trade. The main objective is to compare African American Religion over the period of 1820 to 1880. In the following paragraphs I will write about the purpose, beliefs, and life of the African American Religions this is considered apart of the African American Culture. Some in which will have an abundant amount of information. The A.M.E. Church which was organized as a national denomination under the leadership of the Reverend Richard Allen of Philadelphia in 1816. The A.M.E. Church became a world of wide religion. It has many churches in Africa and Canada. This church is a world renowned religion. The church was for a very good cause which was creating a religion which allowed slaves to not only worship freely, but to be able to sit anywhere, and allow black slaves to not be ignorant to their surroundings in both spiritual and physical world. The spiritual world is the church as a whole and the physical world consisting of everybody.
