Healings Of Jesus Christian Tradition Healings of Jesus Introduction This paper is highlighting parts of the four gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John regarding the healings of Jesus. These books were written back in (30 C.E. to 70 C.E.). Oral Tradition is the thinking how information was passed down from generation to generation. Oral Tradition includes memorization, parables, and passing down the same stories repeatedly. Body The gospel Mark tells stories about Jesus many remarkable healings. Just touching Jesus’ cloak healed the woman who was suffering from a severe hemorrhage. Jesus knew someone had touched him by the power of her faith. I believe he was testing her faith, and that he was aware that it was she. The gospel Mark also reveals Jesus’ powers of healing in the story of Simon’s mother suffering with a high fever and weakness. Jesus touched her and told her to rise and she was healed. Another story is of the blind man who went to Jesus for help, when Jesus touched his eyes and said “Ephphatha” (to be opened), the man was able to see. A person’s faith is very important. A person must have faith to enter God’s eternal kingdom. In Luke 13:1-5 it states, “No, I tell you; but unless jesus, god, faith, power, heal, due, man, luke, healed, evil, believe, spirits, regarding, mark, healings, woman, touched, think, things, story, stories, states, someone, same, repent, problems, powers, plans, perish, over, one, must, matthew, judge
