Just looking at the variety of people gathering together today: the old widowers; married teenage boys and girls; cross dressers in their strange apparel; lesbians unabashedly holding hands; and gays crying in each others shoulders. I quietly slipped out of the conference hall where our free counseling sessions were about to begin, my head dropped and my face gloomed much like all the others. I carefully lifted the brief case from the floor dropping it harshly upon my desk. My fingers silently rubbed my foot, annoyed at the intrusive object that lay in my path. Rather quickly I poured my second cup of coffee then settled down among paper work, snapping the briefcase open.
