Silence Paper Being silenced in any situation can be difficult, but sometimes it works out for the best. There are several situations in which I can remember being silenced; however, after the times that I have been silenced it worked out for the best. The time that I have been silenced that really sticks out in my mind was during the summer of my senior year in high school. My friend Travis was a football player for my high school, and the season had just started with practices. During the first day of two-a-day practices, it got about ninety-five degrees out with a heat index well over one hundred degrees. The coach decided to make the players go full pads for practice in the incredible heat. Half way through the practice, Travis complained that he is feeling sick and thought he should probably sit out for a little while. However, the coach didn’t think that Travis needed to sit out for the rest of practice. Shortly after that conversation, Travis collapsed on the field and then became unresponsive. The coach then called an ambulance and rushed him to the hospital. Twelve hours travis, school, out, about, silenced, heat, say, however, died, death, travis’s, through, talk, probably, practice, made, high, go, coach, best, being, been, works, two, thought, think, story, sometimes, sit, silence, several, really, press, practices, opportunity
